- Server: turn hosting on. Workstations: stop hosting.

- Confirm QBCFMonitorService and QuickBooksDBXX are running.
- Confirm firewall/private network profile and DNS resolution.
Escalate if: DB service will not start, server share permissions fail, or multiple workstations fail after rescan.
3371 — License / Entitlement StoreLicense
Meaning: QuickBooks cannot load license data, often after Windows changes, reinstall, or damaged entitlement cache.
